Mangaluru, May 15, 2025 – The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) at Srinivas Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), successfully organized a Self-Defence Awareness Session for students. The event aimed to promote awareness and equip students with essential self-defence skills to protect themselves from various threats. The resource person for the session was Mr. Nikhil J. Mr. Nikhil conducted an insightful and practical demonstration of self-defence techniques, engaging participants with hands-on activities and clear explanations of each move. The event was well-coordinated by 4th-semester students Mr. Samarth, Mr. Charanraj, and Mr. Safreen, under the guidance of Prof. Madhusudhan S, Department Coordinator, who ensured the smooth execution of the event. As a token of appreciation, Dr. Parvathraj, Senior Faculty, handed over a memento to Mr. Nikhil, recognizing his commendable efforts and active involvement as the session's trainer. We also express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Rakesh Mallya, College NSS Coordinator, for his continuous guidance and all-round support in organizing this event successfully.
