The 'STEADY' association of SIT ECE Department organized a presentation by Mr. Akshay on 'Career Opportunities in Industry’ on 28-10-2021. The program was attended by all the final year ECE department students. He told what is expected from the students during the interview and what preparations are required to crack the interview. He was an Alumnus of SIT ECE Department and currently works as a Software Engineer in Robosoft Technologies, Udupi.

Centre of Excellence for Youth Empowerment
The inaugural function “Centre of Excellence for Youth Empowerment” in association with Honeywell and ICT Academy was held in Srinivas University Pandeshwar Campus on 26-10-2021. 35 SIT ECE students attended this program along with students from CSE and EE branches. These students have registered for the internship program offered by Honeywell in association with ICT Academy.

ETHICAL HACKING WORKSHOP
A workshop on “Ethical Hacking” was organized by ‘ASCEE’ student association of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering on 21st October 2021 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru for the students of all branches. The workshop was conducted by the Resource Person, Mr. Nikhil Kashyap of 5th Semester CS&E, Certified Trainer for Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security.

Sharadha Pooja & Ayudha Pooja Celebration
Sharadha Pooja is performed to pay reverence to Goddess Saraswati and Ayudha Pooja which is a part of the Navratri known as “Worship of Instruments”. The festival was celebrated at Srinivas Institute of Technology on 13-10-2021, at its Valachil campus. Various branches performed Pooja in their departments. Principal and all the staff and students were present during the function.

ECE Department celebrated Ayudha Pooja and Saraswathi Pooja
SIT ECE Department celebrated Ayudha Pooja and Saraswathi Pooja on 13-10-2021. The Pooja was conducted in AEC lab. In all reverance, the blessings of Goddess Devi and Saraswathi was invoked amongst the students and faculty members of the ECE department. The students sang bhajans and offered prayers with sanctity on this occasion. Thereafter, Prasadam and sweets were distributed.
