The Department of Computer Science & Engineering student association ASCEE successfully organized a Mega Technical coding event Hackathon, sponsored by IT Mentorship platform Skillhouse on 28th March 2023 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. More than 40 students from various Engineering colleges around the city actively participated in this contest on the occasion of Envision 2023 - an inter-college Techno Cultural fest. Basically the event had two rounds,Logic Building and Coding. The entire event was organized by Mr. U Manvith Kumar and Ms. Priya. The first prize was bagged by Ajeeb P and Afnan B K and second prize by Anirudh K and Karthik N G. Skillhouse CEO Mr. Vinod Kumar congratulated all the winners.

ENVISION-AIML-2023
Envision 2023 was a techno-cultural event held at our college on the 28th and 29th of March 2023. The event saw a huge turnout of participants from various departments and colleges, showcasing their technical and creative skills. The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning under Tantrik organized several events including Yakshagana, Line Follower, CodeQuest, Kaos Kodes, Tactical Triumph, PES, VR and BizQuiz. This report aims to give an overview of the events organized by the department and their outcomes.

The department of Architecture organized a 2 day master class by Dutch Architect, Anne Feenstra from 23 to 25 March 2023.The workshop aim was to work on form, mass, shade and patterns, to deeply understand natural materiality by 'getting your hands dirty'.

Career-at-sea-2023
The student Association of Marine Engineering AIMES organized a technical talk on “Career at sea” on 16th March 2023. Mr. Chethan, an alumnus of SIT, currently working as a Marine Engineer with Wilhelmsen ship management Limited was invited as the resource person. Mr. Chethan discussed various career opportunities within the shipping industry and shared his personal experiences as a junior engineer working onboard ships.
