The Students Association of Mechanical and Marine Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology organised a technical talk titled Financial Awareness Program on November 30, 2023. The session commenced with a cordial welcome extended by Mr. Sunil Prakash R, the Faculty Coordinator of AIMES.The event featured distinguished speakers, Mr. Steevan Robert Tellis and Mr. Sadanand from the MBA Department at Srinivas Institute of Technology. Mr. Steevan Tellis provided insights into the significance of savings, investment strategies, and conducted a comprehensive comparison of financial instruments such as RD, FD, and share markets. In parallel, Mr. Sadanand focused on emphasizing the importance of savings through investments in Mutual Funds.In appreciation of their valuable contributions, Mr. Steevan Robert Tellis and Mr. Sadanand were presented with letters of appreciation and mementos by Dr. Lokesh V, the Head of the Marine Engineering department. Dr. Shankar K S, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering department, encouraged active student engagement and underscored the significance of the program.The session concluded with Mr. Satya Prakash, Faculty Coordinator of ASMA, expressing gratitude to the resource persons, students, and staff members for their invaluable contributions and active engagement.
