talk on Industrial experience and challenges in Mechanical Industry

Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organised Association Inauguration of Artificial Intelligence Data Science Educatee(AADE) on 18th December 2023. Mr Rakshan B.N, Software Engineer at HashedIn by Deloitte, was the chief guest. The function was presided by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Prinicipal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar N, Head of AI&DS department and Prof. Sneha Bose, Faculty Coordinator, Department of AI&DS. Mr. Ashwin V, President of AADE gave the welcome address, Ms. Mokshashree MN from 3rd year AI&DS introduced the chief guest to the gathering. Mr. Rakshan spoke on GenAi, briefed it's importance, and educated the students about the same. Prof. Sneha Bose read out the action plan for the academic year 2023-24. On this auspicious occasion, badges were issued to office bearers of AADE for the academic year 2023-24.Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, the Principal gave the Presidential Address. Prizes and certificates were issued to academic toppers, winners of various events, participants, and event organizers. Mr. Gagan K Sanil, Secretary, AADE gave vote of thanks.Mr. Madhav Shanbhag, Customer Relation officer, JSW Paints PVT Ltd, who was the chief guest for the inaugural function of Srinivas Advanced Manufacturing and Research Theatre (SAMARTH), of Mechanical engineering department, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, had an interaction session with students after the function. An interaction session with the resource person was organized by All Students Mechanical Association (ASMA). Mr Sathyaprakash A, Staff coordinator of ASMA and Project manager of SAMARTH gave the introduction about the resource person.Mr. Madhav who is also an alumnus of the college recalled his moments during the college days. During the interaction with the students he shared his experience, struggle and success he faced during his journey in the industry. He urged the students to make use of the time available and work towards their dreams. He also gave an informative talk on what is going on in the industry. Mr. Madhav also cleared the various doubts of the students regarding the qualities, technical abilities required, Challenges in the industry.
