Inauguration of Computer Science & Engineering Department Association- ASCEE

The inaugural function of the student Association of Computer Science and Engineering Department – ASCEE(Association of Computer Science Engineering Educatee), of Srinivas Institute of Technology , Valachil, Mangaluru, for the year 2021-22 was held on Saturday 27th November 2021. Mr. Shailesh Padmashali, Consultant- Data & Analytics, Ernst and Young Global Delivery Center, Bengaluru was the Chief Guest. Mr. Shailesh Padmashali in his inaugural address motivated the students to actively participate in all the association activities and focus on personality development which is a key factor for a successful career. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the college, in his presidential address, urged the students to organize maximum number of events in their association and also take up initiatives to shape their ideas into realities. Prof. Ravishankara K, H.O.D, CS&E Department, in his address appreciated the students for their active participation in all the events conducted so far and asked them to extensively make use of such platform to excel in their career. Prof. Aravind Naik , Staff Coordinator briefed about the objectives and activities of the association and introduced the offfice bearers of ASCEE 2021-22. Shradhanjali was offered to the former H.O.D of CS&E, Dr. Shivakumar G. S as a mark of repect and love on this occasion. The twelth edition of department magazine “SPRINKLE” was released by the Chief Guest. The Ethical Hacking Club which conducts numerous Cyber Security related activities lead by Mr. Chinmaya and team , 2nd year students was also inaugurated during this occasion. Ms. Shriraksha, President, ASCEE welcomed the gathering and Ms. Ranjitha Bhat, Secretary, ASCEE delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by Ms. Pushpaka and Ms. Fathimathul Fayiza. The formal function was followed by a technical talk on “ Trends and Technologies in Data Warehousing ” by the chief guest Mr. Shailesh Padmashali.
