Teacher’s Day Celebration-Department of Mechanical and Marine Engineering

The Department of Marine and Mechanical Engineering celebrated Teachers' Day on September 5th, 2023. The program commenced with an invocation by Mr. Rahul MV, 4th Sem Marine, Mr. Prithuesh P B 4thSem marine, delivered a heartfelt welcome address and Ms.Bhuvana Priya T J 4th sem Marine briefed an introduction to the significance of Teachers' Day. Dr. Shankar K S, the Head of the Department, Mechanical and Marine Engineering, delivered an insightful speech; he also emphasized the importance of 'Chalk and Talk' method in learning process. Mr. Sai Madhav S, 4th Sem Marine Engineering department, introduced the chief guest, Dr. Ananth Kumar Kulkarni. On the occasion Dr. Ananth Kumar Kulkarni HOD, Mathematics Department was honoured and felicitated for his outstanding services in the teaching field. In his speech, he shared his views on celebrating Teachers' Day. Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde delivered a presidential address, highlighting the significance of Sanathana Dharma in the teaching field. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Subramanya Nayak, 4th Sem Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Lokesh V, Co-ordinator of the program, teaching staff, Non Teaching staff and students were present during the Program.
