Simplifying Personal Finance for the Young

The Department of MBA at Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil Mangaluru in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council IIC organized a session on Simplifying Personal Finance for the Young on 6th August 2025 A total of 96 students from 1st and 2nd year MBA participated in the program The objective of the session was to equip students with practical knowledge and essential skills for managing their personal finances effectively in today’s fast paced economic environment The resource person for the session was Dr Balaji Rao DG Co founder & Director OSAT Knowledge Pvt Ltd Dr Balaji Rao shared valuable insights into key aspects of personal finance such as budgeting savings investments debt management and understanding financial products The session was well received with students appreciating its practical approach and actionable takeaways Many participants expressed that the knowledge gained would significantly help them in making sound financial choices both during their academic journey and in their professional career
