Say Yes to Life, Say No to Drugs

The Department of Computer Science & Business System (CSBS) at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), successfully organized an awareness campaign titled Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs on 28 March 2025 at SIT, Valachil. The program aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and to encourage them to lead a drug-free and healthy life. The primary objective of the campaign was to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse. The event sought to empower students with knowledge, inspire them to make informed decisions, and promote a healthy lifestyle free from addiction. The event concluded with a pledge ceremony where participants committed to abstaining from drug use and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The outreach program was successfully coordinated by Mr. Shailesh Shetty S, Head of the Department, CSBS, and Ms. Rithika, NSS Coordinator. Their efforts contributed to making the session engaging and impactful for the students.
