MCA Project Exhibition on IoT and Data Analytics

On 8th April 2025, the Department of MCA at Srinivas Institute of Technology successfully organized a Project Exhibition on IoT and Data Analytics Using Python. A total of 34 innovative projects—17 based on IoT and 17 on Data Analytics using Python—were showcased by 2nd year MCA students. Held at venues M401 and M402 starting at 9:30 a.m., the exhibition aimed to inspire upcoming students by giving them exposure to real-time applications and project development techniques. It served as an interactive platform where juniors could gain insights into the thought process, tools, and technologies involved in building academic projects. The IoT projects were developed under the mentorship of Mr. Rajesh Naik, who guided students in implementing embedded systems, sensors, and automation. Meanwhile, Mr. Swapnil Sunil Pai mentored the Data Analytics projects, where students worked on real-world datasets to extract valuable insights through data analysis and visualization. The event was made possible through the continuous support of Dr. Shashidhar Kini K, Head of the Department, whose initiative to promote experiential learning has empowered students to apply their knowledge beyond textbooks. The exhibition not only showcased talent but also offered a valuable learning experience, enhancing juniors’ understanding of project planning, execution, teamwork, and innovation in the tech industry.
