IoT Workshop Conducted by Department of MCA

The Department of MCA at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, conducted an IoT workshop on 7th January 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:20 AM. The session was led by Mr. Vivek Pai, ATL Mentor of SVS School, Vidhyagiri, along with students Thanish R Shettigar and Ananya Bhat. The event began with a warm welcome for the chief guest, accompanied by a floral presentation by our esteemed Head of Department, Dr. Shashidhar Kini K. The workshop provided students with a foundational understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its core concepts. It introduced popular IoT boards, explored various sensor technologies, and offered valuable guidance on developing IoT-based projects. Practical demonstrations further enriched the learning experience, making complex concepts easier to grasp. The event successfully ignited interest in IoT among students, motivating them to explore this exciting and rapidly evolving field. Participants left with valuable insights and inspiration to pursue innovative IoT applications and projects, contributing to a growing passion for technology and innovation.
