India Design Week 2025 Participation

Mr. Gowtham B. K. and Mr. Hridhik Prasad P., of the 6th Semester Mechanical Engineering Department at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore, participated in the national-level design competition “India Design Week – 2025,” organized by ICT Academy at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. India Design Week (IDW) 2025 is a premier platform for aspiring engineers to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills. In this 6th edition, student participants came together to design innovative solutions for real-world challenges, using Autodesk FUSION software as a key tool in their journey. This design event provides an opportunity for students to convert their conceptual ideas into digital products with the help of Autodesk FUSION. According to Mr. Hridhik Prasad, participating in the event has boosted his confidence to take part in more such competitions. He stated that there is a vast difference between solving problems in the classroom and participating in competitions, where one must design based on a given theme. Mr. Gowtham B. K. and Mr. Hridhik Prasad P. also expressed their gratitude to Dr. Shankar K. S., Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal, for their support during their participation in the event.
