FDP on “Fundamentals of Information and Modern Network Technologies”

The Department of Electronics and Communication conducted a 5 Days Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Fundamentals of Information and Modern Network Technologies” from 62-2023 to 10-2-2023. The program was inaugurated on 6-2-2023 in the HDL lab by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D and told the importance of such workshops in the present scenario. Dr. Soorya Krishna K, HOD and the moderator of this program informed the objectives of the workshop. The aim of this FDP was to gain knowledge on the different facets of Information Technology and the fundamentals of modern networking technologies. The FDP is devoted to the fundamentals of computer hardware, the Internet, computer software, fundamentals of modern networking technologies and protocols. Major Course Contents covered in the FDP are Introduction to IT and Hardware, OS and Networking, Software and Troubleshooting, Modern Networking technology and Network layer. All the faculties are actively involved in the Quizzes, Activities and sessions.The valedictory function of the FDP was conducted on 10-2-2023. The certificates were distributed to the participants. A few faculty on behalf of all the faculties gave feedback that FDP was good and enjoyed writing the quizzes. Overall, faculties learned a lot from the 5 days of the FDP program.
