National-Level College Fest – Envision 2025 – Inaugurated at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru Mangaluru, May 7, 2025: Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, witnessed the grand inauguration of Envision 2025, a national-level intercollegiate techno-cultural fest designed to ignite innovation, leadership, and holistic student development. The event was presided over by Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Honorable Chancellor of Srinivas University and President of A. Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of communication skills in a student's career. “Effective communication is the bridge to success. Mastery over Commercial English is essential for professional growth,” he remarked. Dr. A. Shrinivas Rao, Honorable Pro Chancellor of Srinivas University and Vice President of A. Shama Rao Foundation, addressed the gathering and applauded the students’ efforts in organizing Envision 2025. He stressed that such events build innovative thinking and leadership qualities and are a vital part of personality development at Srinivas institutions. Ms. Jasline Theresa Menezes, HR professional at Tetherfi Technologies Pvt. Ltd., graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In her insightful address, she emphasized the growing demand for soft skills in the corporate world and encouraged students to participate in extracurricular activities. “Skills like crisis management, leadership, and project execution can be developed through these platforms. Embrace challenges and turn them into opportunities,” she advised. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, florally welcomed the President of the function, Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, and appreciated the spirit of the students in hosting a fest of such scale and diversity. Mr. Acharya Pavan, Student Coordinator of Envision 2025, delivered the formal welcome address, introduced the dignitaries, and set the tone for the event with enthusiasm and energy. Dr. Rajesh, Faculty Coordinator of the fest, presented a comprehensive report on Envision 2025, noting that the fest features over 32 technical and non-technical events with more than 800 participants from various institutions across the country. The event was graced by Principals of various colleges, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and staff, marking a strong academic and collaborative spirit. The function was elegantly hosted by the Masters of Ceremony, Mr. K. Abhijna Shetty and Ms. Yukthi, who conducted the proceedings with grace and professionalism. The inauguration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Vishal, Students Council President, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making Envision 2025 a grand success.
