Enrichment Programme - Nature Walk for B.Arch Students

Enrichment Programme - Nature Walk for B.Arch Students Srinivas School of Architecture organized a nature walk for the first year B.Arch students as part of Enrichment program on 02/04/2025. The students were guided by Ar. Shyamkumar P. who is a faculty in the department. Ar. Shyamkumar is an avid bird watcher and naturalist. He was the first to spot 38 bird species in Kasargod, Kerala. The students gained an understanding of local flora fauna and bird species on SIT campus. 20 species of birds were identified. The students also gained an appreciation of retaining local plants and trees while working on their concepts for site planning and landscape design. The one hour walk was from 7:45 am to 8:45 am and was co-ordinated by Ar. Leslie J. DIas.
