Session on Early Stage Entrepreneurs

On August 20 2025 the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems CSBS of Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council IIC and Startup and Incubation Cell organized a session on Early Stage Entrepreneurs. The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D Principal and Mr Shailesh Shetty S Head of the Department CSBS. The resource person for the session was Mr Vaishak Ratan CMO Skill Sync. He shared practical insights on the journey of early-stage entrepreneurs challenges faced in the initial stages of building a startup and the importance of incubation support. The talk covered essential aspects such as idea validation market fit product development and the role of mentorship in overcoming early challenges. Mr Vaishak Ratan also highlighted the significance of incubation centers and support networks for budding entrepreneurs emphasizing how students and young innovators can leverage these opportunities to accelerate their entrepreneurial journey. The interactive nature of the session motivated participants to think critically about transforming their innovative ideas into viable business models. The session concluded with a Q&A segment where students received valuable guidance on building resilience networking and adapting to dynamic business environments. The event was highly beneficial in instilling entrepreneurial confidence and providing participants with a roadmap to navigate the challenges of early-stage startups.
