Business Model Canvas Workshop

Business Model Canvas Workshop The Business Model Canvas workshop was conducted by MBA department on April 1, 2025, in Room 503. The objective of this session was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and its application in real-world business scenarios. This activity aimed to enhance students' strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and problem-solving skills. Dr. Veena S. Rai, Associate Professor, MBA department, SIT was the resource person delivered an insightful session on the Business Model Canvas. She explained the nine building blocks of the BMC, including key partners, key activities, value propositions, customer relationships, customer segments, key resources, channels, cost structure, and revenue streams. Following the expert talk, students were given the opportunity to present their own Business Model Canvas frameworks. Each group presented their business ideas, explaining how they structured their models to create, deliver, and capture value. The presentations were interactive, with constructive feedback provided by Dr. Veena S. Rai and faculty members. The event was coordinated by Prof. Rashmi, Assistant Professor, MBA Department. Around 90 students participated in this session.
