The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Srinivas Institute of Technologyvalachil, Mangaluru organised One day Faculty Development Programme onAUTODESK FUSION 360 on 26 th August 2022. Mr. Abhinandan Kabburdirector and head of Product design and Manufacturing, Medini Autodeskauthorised Training Centre was the chief guest and resource person. Dr.Shinivasa Mayya D, Principal of college and president of programme, advisedthe faculty members to actively participate in the FDP to enrich theirknowledge. Dr. Shankar KS, Head of department of Mechanical Engineeringtold this kind of faculty development programme is needed to upgrade theknowledge of faculty about the software and current technology in the world.Mr. Abhinandan Kabbur elaborated on the application areas of AUTODESKFUSION 360 in the industry and also gave a demonstration of the 3D modelcreation, animation and its conversation to a G-code and M-code. His AssociateMr. Mohan assisted the faculty members in the hands application of softwareMr. Jayaram Thumbe, Associate professor, Department of MechanicalEngineering coordinated the Faculty Development Programme. Facultymembers of Mechanical sciences actively participated in the programme.
