ECE Engineer’s Day
'STEADY' association of SIT ECE Department organised ‘Engineer’s Day’ on 15-9-2021. The program was attended by all the ECE department students and faculties. Students remembered the role played by Dr. M. Visvesvaraya in building the Dams in India and Engineering marvels created in India by other great Engineers. A video was played at the end of the program to pay tribute to all the Engineers.

Engineers Day Program conducted by AMARA Association
The Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering Association AMARA celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15/09/2021, to commemorate the 160th birth anniversary of a great visionary, stateman and engineer par excellence, Late Sir Visvesvaraya. Mr Ar. Leslie Dias, a noted architect and Associate Professor at, Srinivas School of Architecture, Mangaluru, was honoured by the Department head, Dr Ramakrishna Hegde on this occasion. Mr Ar. Leslie Dias speaking on this occasion stressed the need for an engineer to cross the defined limit of engineering and the right attitude to take up the new challenges to be successful.

STEADY association of SIT ECE Department organised ‘Teacher’s Day’ on 8-9-2021. The program was attended by all the ECE department students and faculties.
