Minimum Viable Product and Business Validation

On August 12 2025 the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems CSBS of Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council IIC organized a mentoring session on Minimum Viable Product and Business Validation The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D Principal and Mr Shailesh Shetty S Head of the Department CSBS Ms Sudharma CTO of Skill Sync served as the resource person for the session She shared valuable insights into the process of creating a Minimum Viable Product MVP emphasizing the importance of building a simplified yet functional version of a product to test market response and gather feedback at an early stage She also highlighted effective strategies for business validation enabling participants to evaluate the feasibility desirability and viability of their business ideas before scaling them further The interactive session encouraged participants to explore practical examples analyze case studies and discuss real world challenges faced by startups The mentoring provided students with a deeper understanding of aligning product development with market needs thus enhancing their capacity to innovate and build sustainable ventures
