A session on "Industry Connect – R and D Interaction Forum" was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) in association with the R&D Cell on 22 May 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

The resource persons for the session were Prof. SathyaPrakash, CEO of Siyo Liquid Detergent and Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SIT, and Mr. Sadananda Poojari, Proprietor of Chaitanya Investments, Mangalore and Udupi. The event was coordinated by Prof. Clitus D'Souza, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, who welcomed the gathering. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Lokesh K. S., Associate Professor, Department of CSBS and Coordinator, R&D Cell.

The session was highly interactive. Prof. SathyaPrakash addressed queries related to Startup initiatives, entrepreneurship opportunities, and various funding agencies that support innovative ventures. Mr. Sadananda Poojari handled questions pertaining to financial planning and mutual fund investment strategies for students, emphasizing the importance of informed financial decision-making at an early stage. The programme was attended by total of 58 students from 4th sem ECE and CSBS, who actively participated in the discussions and benefited from the insights shared by the distinguished speakers.
