Founder’s Code: Navigating the Legal and Ethical Steps of Your Startup
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) of Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with IIC, organized a session titled “Founder’s Code: Navigating the Legal & Ethical Steps of Your Startup” on 19th May 2026.
The session was delivered by Advocate Nandakishore Polya, who shared valuable insights on the legal procedures, ethical responsibilities, and regulatory requirements involved in building and managing a startup. The speaker highlighted important topics such as startup registration, intellectual property rights, legal compliance, ethical business practices, and risk management strategies for entrepreneurs.The session was highly interactive and informative, helping students understand the importance of balancing innovation with legal and ethical responsibilities in the startup ecosystem. Students actively participated in discussions and gained practical knowledge about the challenges and responsibilities faced by startup founders.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Daya Naik, Head of AIML, and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, with coordination by Dr. Parvathraj K M M.
The event concluded successfully, enhancing students’ awareness of the legal and ethical aspects of entrepreneurship and motivating them to build responsible and sustainable startups.
