On 2nd June, 2026, members of the Lumina HR Club from the Department of MBA, Srinivas Institute of Technology, visited KIOCL Ltd. The main objective of the visit was to gain practical exposure to CSR activity conducted and Exit Interview Strategy followed by the organization. This academic-industry interaction enabled students to understand the functioning of HR vertical in KIOCL ltd which is Public sector undertaking. Hence these helped students to gain an insight on HR strategies with respect to government undertakings. The visit was designed to explore how an organization is handling the challenge of employees quitting from the organization. Students also engaged in interactive sessions with industry experts, allowing them to connect classroom learning with real-world applications.

The visit to KIOCL Ltd was highly informative and enriching. It offered practical insights into HR policy, HR practices exclusively the exit strategy adopted, revised and followed by the organisation reinforcing the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom. The experience not only broadened students’ practical knowledge but also highlighted the critical role of people management in fostering throughout development of organization and its goodwill especially in the PSU’s where dominance of Trade union is at its core. Overall, the program proved to be a valuable step in enhancing the academic and professional growth of the participating students.
