The Departments of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), in association with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), organized "Vision to Venture: B-Plan Competition for Future Entrepreneurs" on 30th and 31st May 2026 in hybrid mode.

On 30th May 2026, students formed teams of two members and actively participated in brainstorming sessions to identify real-world problems and develop innovative business ideas. The teams prepared their business plans, models, and presentation strategies with the support of faculty coordinators.

The presentations were evaluated by Prof. Yashwini, Assistant Professor, Govinda Dasa College, Mangaluru, and Dr. Bharathi, Associate Professor, Department of BBA, Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, Mangaluru. The evaluation was carried out based on key criteria such as innovation and creativity, clarity of problem and solution, business model feasibility, presentation skills, and team coordination including Q&A interaction. The judges provided valuable feedback and suggestions to help students refine their ideas and strengthen their entrepreneurial approach.

A total of 16 teams participated in the competition. After a detailed evaluation, the best three teams were selected based on their overall performance and idea strength.

The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Pratheeksha B.R. (CSBS) and Dr. Parvathraj K M (AIML), whose dedicated efforts in planning and execution ensured the smooth conduct of the program..

The event successfully promoted innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among students and concluded with appreciation extended to the judges, coordinators, and all participants.
