The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized a Poster Presentation on Interdisciplinary Projects on 16th May 2026. The event aimed to encourage innovation, creativity, and collaborative learning among students through the presentation of interdisciplinary hardware-based project ideas.

The session included technical guidance on development environments, board configuration, programming, and hardware interfacing techniques. The session was conducted by Mr. Colin David Karat, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, who mentored the participants throughout the presentation activities.

A total of 26 interdisciplinary students participated in the event and were grouped into 5 teams to work collaboratively on innovative project ideas. Through brainstorming and technical discussions, the teams conceptualized multiple project ideas focusing on embedded systems and IoT-based applications.

Overall, 5 project ideas were proposed and presented during the poster presentation session. Each team showcased their project objectives, methodology, implementation process, and expected applications through informative posters and working models.

The event served as an effective platform for students to enhance their practical knowledge, teamwork, presentation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
