A cleaner environment begins with small actions. On 22 April 2026, the NSS Unit of the AIML Department at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru carried out a Campus Cleaning Drive with active participation from students.

The activity brought together volunteers with a shared goal — to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier campus. From collecting waste to promoting cleanliness awareness, every effort reflected a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

The drive not only improved the surroundings but also instilled values of teamwork, discipline, and respect for nature among students. It served as a reminder that sustainable change starts with individual action.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Madhusudhan S (NSS Staff Coordinator) and Prof. Rakesh Mallya (NSS Coordinator), with the support of Principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D and HOD Prof. Daya Naik.

Together, we move one step closer to a cleaner and greener tomorrow.
