The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) of Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with IIC and EDP Cell,organized an event on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day titled “Ideas to Impact – Innovations that Made an Impact on Earth” on 27th April 2026 at 1:00 PM in the AIML Lab.

The event featured a PPT presentation session, where participants showcased innovative ideas and discussed groundbreaking innovations that have significantly influenced the world. The session aimed to create awareness about intellectual property rights and highlight the importance of innovation in solving real-world problems.The session was guided by Dr. Lokesh K S, Associate Professor, who served as the resource person and evaluator. He provided valuable insights, constructive feedback, and encouraged participants to refine their ideas with a focus on innovation and practical impact.Students actively participated by presenting their ideas and engaging in discussions, making the session highly interactive and informative. The event encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of how innovations can be transformed into impactful solutions.
