The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) of Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a heritage visit titled “Roots to Routes: Heritage Meets Tourism” to Karinjeshwara on 13th April 2026 from 09:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The visit aimed to promote awareness of cultural heritage and tourism among students. Participants actively engaged in exploring the historical and natural significance of Karinjeshwara, making the experience both educational and enriching.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Daya Naik, Head of AIML, and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, with coordination by Prof. Nithya B P.

The event concluded successfully, encouraging students to appreciate heritage and promote tourism.
