On 30th April 2026, the Department of Information Science & Engineering (ISE) and the Department of Computer Science & Design (CSD), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC), successfully organized a technical quiz event titled “InnovCode Quiz: Test Your Programming IQ”. The program was conducted at the Department Seminar Hall at 11:00 AM with the objective of enhancing students’ programming knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

The event was designed as an engaging and competitive quiz activity focusing on core programming concepts. The quiz included multiple rounds covering topics such as C programming fundamentals, code snippets, logical reasoning, debugging, and algorithm-based questions. Participants were required to think quickly, analyze problems efficiently, and provide accurate answers within a limited time frame. This format encouraged students to recall concepts, apply logic, and improve their decision-making skills under pressure.

Students actively participated in the quiz with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. The event created an interactive and intellectually stimulating environment where participants showcased their technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities. The structured rounds not only tested their understanding of programming concepts but also enhanced their confidence and teamwork skills. The activity successfully promoted active learning and healthy competition among students.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, with valuable support from Prof. Sudarshan K., HOD, ISE & CSD, who emphasized the importance of strong programming fundamentals in developing innovative engineering solutions. The program was coordinated under IIC by Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator, with academic guidance from Prof. Sowmya, ISE Staff Advisor, and Prof. Archana D, CSD Staff Advisor. The event was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Aparna N, ISE Staff Coordinator, and Prof. Sahana B, CSD Staff Coordinator, ensuring smooth execution of the program.

The quiz was effectively organized and conducted by the student organizers Leekshita K V, Thrisha, Chandravathi, and Pratheeksha, who played a key role in planning the rounds, managing participants, and ensuring the overall success of the event.

Overall, “InnovCode Quiz: Test Your Programming IQ” proved to be a highly engaging and productive initiative. The event not only strengthened students’ programming and analytical skills but also aligned with the objectives of IIC by promoting innovation, creativity, and strategic thinking.
