The students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering visited the Industrial Expo 2026 held in Mangalore, organized by the Kanara Industrial Association. The visit was arranged in association with EDP, IIIC, IIC, and ASMA with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to modern industrial practices.

During the expo, students gained valuable insights into automated machinery, custom-built machines, and various machine components, enhancing their understanding of current technological advancements in the manufacturing sector.

The students were accompanied by Prof. Sathya Prakash A, who guided them throughout the visit. Dr. Shankar K.S., Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, encouraged and motivated the students to actively participate and make the most of this learning opportunity.

The visit proved to be highly beneficial in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial applications.
