The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Srinivas Institute of Technology, organized a student outreach activity at Government Higher Primary School, Maroli, Mangaluru on 28th February 2026.

The objective of the visit was to engage with school students and create awareness about the importance of education, creativity, and innovative thinking among young learners. The interaction session included various engaging activities aimed at improving communication skills, confidence building, and teamwork among the students.

During the session, students actively participated in group discussions and interactive activities conducted by the volunteers. The session encouraged students to express their ideas freely and helped them develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The volunteers also motivated the students to pursue education with curiosity and enthusiasm.

The program concluded with a group interaction session and a photograph with the participating students and volunteers. The activity served as a meaningful initiative to inspire young minds and strengthen community engagement through educational outreach.
