The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in association with IIC organized a field/exposure visit titled “Tech-Trail” on 05 March 2026 to K-Tech Innovation Hub, Mangalore, to provide students with practical exposure to innovation, startup ecosystems, and entrepreneurship opportunities. The session highlighted the role of K-Tech Innovation Hub in helping students boost their academic projects and transform innovative ideas into successful startups through mentorship, incubation support, funding guidance, networking opportunities, and access to prototyping facilities.. The session emphasized that software coding and hardware coding are completely different domains requiring specialized skills and approaches. The resource person also showed a live demonstration of laser cutting, explaining its importance in hardware prototyping and product development. The visit was organized under the guidance of Dr. Parvathraj K.M.M (Event Coordinator) and Prof. Daya Naik (HOD, AIML), with the support of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, making the visit informative and inspiring for all the participants.
