The Department of MBA, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) organized an outreach programme at Capitanio High School, Mangalore.

The session was conducted by Prof. Rashmi, Prof. Mallika, MBA Department along with three MBA students Mr. Prajwal, Mr. Jithesh, Mr. Kaushik Mogaveera. The programme focused on introducing school students to the concepts of innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and self-employment opportunities. The objective of the program was to create awareness about innovation and entrepreneurship among school students, to inculcate entrepreneurial mindset at an early stage, to motivate students to explore entrepreneurship as a career option, to introduce basic concepts of creativity, problem solving, and opportunity identification.

During the session, we explained the difference between a job-seeking mindset and a job-creating mindset. Real-life examples of young and successful entrepreneurs were discussed to inspire students. The session also highlighted how innovative ideas can be developed from everyday problems. Interactive discussions and question-answer sessions were conducted to ensure active student participation. The students responded enthusiastically and showed keen interest in understanding entrepreneurship as a future career path.

The programms helped in fostering early entrepreneurial awareness among school students and encouraged them to think beyond conventional career choices. Total of 70 students were present during the session.
