The Department of MBA, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Empowering Innovation through Design Thinking: An ICT Workshop on Canva” on 24 February 2026 at Srinivas Institute of Technology.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ creative thinking and digital design skills using Canva as an ICT tool and hands on session. The sessions focused on the principles of design thinking, visual communication, and practical applications of Canva for academic and professional presentations. Hands-on activities enabled participants to explore innovative ways of content creation and problem-solving. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ranjith and Mr. Sharath, Lab Assistants, who provided practical demonstrations and guided participants through real-time design exercises. The event witnessed active participation and enthusiastic engagement from students and faculty members.

The program was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal; Dr. Veena S Rai, HOD–MBA; Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator; Prof. Dhanya K, Staff Event Coordinator; and Prof. Mallika, Department IIC Coordinator. The workshop concluded with positive feedback, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and digital competence.
