Mini Project Exhibition
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, organized a Mini Project Exhibition on 5th December 2025. The event aimed to provide a platform for 5th semester students to present their mini-projects and demonstrate how electronics, automation, IoT, and intelligence-based systems are increasingly shaping real-world technological solutions. The program was jointly organized under the initiatives of Yukti, Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), highlighting the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and practical learning among students.
A total of 17 teams presented their mini-projects during the Mini Project Exhibition. Each team showcased their innovative work. The projects covered a wide spectrum of domains, including: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Robotics & Automation, Computer Vision, IoT and Smart Monitoring.
Students demonstrated functional prototypes, simulations, and real-time working models. The presentations reflected strong conceptual understanding, teamwork, and hands-on technical skills.
The projects were evaluated by Prof. Rakesh Mallya and Prof. Gourish Hegde, who assessed the projects based on innovation, technical implementation, presentation quality, and real-world applicability.
Faculty evaluators appreciated the creativity, design clarity, and practical applicability demonstrated in the projects. Many ideas carried strong potential for further development, entrepreneurial exploration, or participation in advanced competitions. With strong participation from students, active involvement of faculty, and insightful demonstrations of innovative ideas, the program fulfilled its objective of promoting experiential learning and fostering innovation.
