Future Ready AI: Innovation that Empowers Everyone

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized a technical session titled Future Ready AI: Innovation that Empowers Everyone on 9th February 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Ethnotech Lab, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The session was delivered by Mr. Prashanth Kannadaguli, CEO, Dhaarin AI-TECH Research Academy.

During the session, the speaker explained how Artificial Intelligence is becoming a catalyst for India’s economic growth by driving digital transformation across sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, governance, and industry. He introduced the concept of the Three Body Problem of Indian AI, highlighting key challenges related to talent, data, and infrastructure, and emphasized the importance of balancing these elements for sustainable AI development.

Mr. Prashanth also discussed the Compute Chakra concept, stressing the importance of treating computational infrastructure as a public utility to ensure equal access to AI resources for students, researchers, and startups. He emphasized the need for inclusive AI by promoting regional language AI models, helping bridge language barriers and ensuring broader participation in technological advancements.

The session also focused on reducing friction in digital systems to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship. Real-world examples and policy perspectives helped students understand the socio-economic impact of Artificial Intelligence and its role in shaping the nation’s future.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion where students explored career opportunities, research directions, and startup possibilities in AI. The program enhanced students’ understanding of national AI strategies and inspired them to contribute towards building inclusive and future-ready AI solutions.

The event was conducted successfully with the support and encouragement of Principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. The program was supported by Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar N, Head of AI&DS, along with the Institution’s Innovation Council. The session was coordinated by Prof. Ganapathi Sharma K, IIC Coordinator, and Prof. Ajay Prinston Pinto, AADE Association Coordinator. Faculty members and students actively participated, making the session informative and engaging.
